Oceanside Pacific Kiwanis Club History
The Oceanside Pacific Kiwanis club has been an active part of the San Diego community for over 35 years
Our club was chartered in 1981 with Richard Phillips as president and 33 initial members.
The membership has changed since that time, but the clubs dedication to the children and community of Oceanside (and greater San Diego) has not!
We support children and young adults in the Oceanside School District as sponsors of the Kiwanis Key Club (leadership) program at El Camino High School, the BUG program (Bringing up Grades) for elementary students, an annual Beach Fun Day program for kids with special needs in elementary and middle schools and our Student of the Month program to name just a few. We also have a long standing commitment serving breakfast at Brother Benno's, we honor local Volunteers of the Month. We also conduct food drives across the year for many local non-profit organizations and volunteer at local events hosted by the Chamber of Commerce!
